A challenging a stimulating role, working a alongside the director of Knowledge and Learning & Development to shape and implement the overall L&D strategy for the firm, as part of a dynamic and focussed 20-strong team within this major International Law Firm with over 1000 employees. Key responsibilities will include:- ? Working in conjunction with the Director of KL&D designing the soft skills programme for fee earners across the career spectrum, ? Managing the firm’s L&D budget and the budgeting process according to business needs and monitoring expenditure against budget. ? Overseeing the firm’s LPC/GDL and PSC programmes in conjunction with the Graduate Recruitment Team ? Selecting, and working with third party providers, to deliver training courses/programmes tailored to the business ? Managing the roll-out and implementation of the LMS and the maintenance and development of the L&D intranet pages ? Looking at and implementing news ways of delivering online and blended learning to the firm ? Managing compulsory L&D programmes such as the new partner programme and the induction programme for new joiners to the firm and delivering some induction training ? Communicating L&D and programmes to relevant stakeholders in a way that is engaging and that continues to cultivate the culture of learning and development in employees ? Line management of the L&D team You will be an experienced L&D Manager with experience in professional services, possess proven organisational ability within a commercial and pressurised environment and have a strategic outlook and ability to innovate.
