A leading law firm is looking to hire a Billing Coordinator to join its high-performing Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to build on initial billing or finance experience in a professional services environment.
The Role
Working within a collaborative revenue team, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate billing, efficient collections, and strong internal stakeholder support.
Key responsibilities include:
Processing a high volume of invoices accurately and in line with firm procedures
Converting work in progress (WIP) into compliant client invoices
Supporting credit control activities to ensure timely payment of invoices
Managing and resolving billing queries, escalating where required
Maintaining accurate records of outstanding invoices and client interactions
Liaising regularly with fee earners, partners and finance colleagues
Supporting senior members of the revenue team on day-to-day activities
About You
6–12 months’ experience in a legal or professional services environment (essential
Exposure to billing, revenue, finance or credit control processes
Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Excellent communication skills, with confidence dealing with stakeholders at all levels
Good level of numeracy and understanding of financial processes
Strong IT skills, including Excel and Outlook
A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn
