The Role
As a Business Crime Paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting a large-scale case involving substantial volumes of documentation. This position is ideally suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident handling complex, detail-heavy work.
Key Responsibilities
Managing large volumes of case documentation, including ongoing and historical materials
Maintaining and updating detailed spreadsheets and tracking systems
Using document review platforms such as Relativity
Reviewing and analysing legal and evidential materials
Producing clear and concise case summaries
Attending meetings, court proceedings, and conference calls, taking accurate notes
Drafting legal correspondence and internal documents
Preparing hard copy bundles for hearings and casework
Liaising with Counsel and supporting case strategy
Conducting legal research across recognised platforms
Providing general administrative support as required
About You
Law degree or GDL, along with LPC or BPTC
At least 12 months’ experience in contentious or criminal paralegal work
Familiarity with eDisclosure systems
Strong interest in business crime and investigations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
Experience using legal research tools such as LexisNexis or Westlaw
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Able to prioritise effectively and manage competing deadlines
Proactive, reliable, and collaborative approach
