The Opportunity
The Finance Manager will play a central role in overseeing day-to-day financial operations while supporting strategic financial planning. This Finance Manager role sits at the heart of a small but high-performing team and offers increasing involvement in forecasting, reporting and business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Managing and developing a small finance team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
Overseeing banking, cash flow and credit control activity
Leading billing processes and monitoring work in progress
Managing payroll and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
Maintaining compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and client money regulations
Supporting monthly management accounts and partner reporting
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
Improving systems, controls and finance processes
About You
Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Strong experience in a finance management or senior finance role
Background in professional services, ideally legal or regulated environments
Confident preparing management accounts and financial reporting
Strong attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on approach
Excellent communication skills, able to work with stakeholders across the business
What’s On Offer
Salary £55,000 – £65,000 depending on experience
