A leading law firm is looking for a Junior PA to support its Intellectual Property & Commercial practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with early PA or secretarial experience in a legal environment who wants to build their skills in a collaborative, high-performing team.
What you’ll be doing
Providing proactive diary and workload management for fee earners
Supporting client communication, acting as a first point of contact
Preparing, formatting and proofreading documents to a high standard
Managing files, archiving and maintaining accurate records
Assisting with billing, AML checks, conflicts searches and other risk processes
Using internal systems including CRM, document management and Microsoft Office
Supporting BD activity by logging meetings and assisting with marketing coordination
Processing applications, forms and searches with minimal supervision
What we’re looking for
Previous PA or secretarial experience in a law firm
Helpful but not essential: exposure to intellectual property, trademarks or commercial work
Confident use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Strong attention to detail, organisation and communication skills
A proactive, flexible approach and commitment to excellent client service
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, grade C/level 4 or above
Working arrangements
Full-time or 0.8 FTE minimum
Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 9.30am–5.30pm
Hybrid working: at least 40% of time in the office
Occasional flexibility required around deadlines and team needs
